Tuesdays With The Angel- Messages From The Angels

The other day as I planned my day, doing the dishes, looking out the kitchen window, a thought came to me. I wasn’t thinking about heaven, angels or God at that moment but the words came through my mind. Walk with me. I realized it was a message from heaven.

Later in the day, I was contemplating whether to text a loved one who was having a disheartening day. Unexpectedly, the birthday card from that same person with a butterfly on it fell down on my desk. It had been leaning on the wall. There was nothing to have prompted the card moving. I knew it was a sign from above to text the loved one and I did. I knew the words that ran through my mind at that moment were part of my morning message.

“When one door closes, another one opens. Angels are near,” I wrote in the text. My message from the morning was clear. I was walking with the angels that day.

Tuesdays With The Angels-Are Angels Perfect?

People ask if angels are perfect. Yes, they are as perfect as God created them to help us.To me angels are God’s messengers, helping us through our days. Through joys and sorrows, angels are near. I know in my own life, I find this to be true.

I know friends and many others who come to my book signings  who have had experiences with angels. Some have seen them, seeing wings and beautiful glowing beings of all shapes, sizes, genders and ages. Some people say they have been saved from accidents, or have heard angel’s messages, finding objects, or seeing miracles happen in all kinds of scenarios.

My own experiences with angels on earth include meeting an angel appearing as a human once years ago.  My encounter with the man I call, Angel, changed my life from sorrow to moving forward after the  loss of  my daughter.  I am writing a book about meeting him and those I’ve encountered who also may have been angels on earth. To me angels are as perfect as they can be. They are celestial beings, full of love, sent by God. I found great comfort knowing angels are near.

Tuesdays With The Angels-Messages From The Angels

People are wondering if angels are humans? Are angels female and male? I’ve spoken to so many people who have had angel experiences and read so many stories and of course I have had experiences of my own.

Angels can be male, female, old and young according to those I have spoken to and stories I’ve read. They are not human but celestial beings in my belief. Although angels do appear in human form to help and guide. I know this to be true because I had my own angel-human encounter years ago. The encounter changed my life. The encounter meeting the man I call angel, inspired me to create a fictitious series of books about angels living as humans in Mystic Bay, a town I created.

The angel I encountered inspired me to write my  memoir about the children wtih special needs I taught and how they changed my life and way of thinking after my daughter passed away.

There are so many stories about angel encounters from others I’ve known  that I am writing a new book about it. You see, I  discuss this  all on my Jody Sharpe YouTube channel because in our world today, we need more stories of angels, of kindness and of spiritual awakening. These stories in my mind and stories that I’ve read and have been told to me, fill my soul with hope and gladness. Love is real and angels are real. My message from the angels today is Follow your Heart. Your heart knows the answers!

Tuesdays With The Angels-20 Moon Rd. An Angel’s Tale

Long ago during childhood, my older sister, Karen, played a game at night in our bedroom with me that she created from her imagination called, “Good Fairy.” As creativity ran in all the genes of our family, my creativity was born. It would be decades later that I would write my first novel. Now I have finished the 5th in the Mystic Bay Series, 20 Moon Rd, An Angel’s Tale. I also wrote my memoir of my teaching years called, Special Needs

Children The Angels On My Shoulder. Also, I wrote a children’s

book, When The Angel Sent Butterflies.I was inspired to write angel stories after my daughter passed away years ago. It was then I know I met an angel in human form. His presence and words comforted me and so I call him The Man I Call Angel. I dedicated this book to my sister and my father, Joe, who was a funny, creative and brilliant man, who left our lives too soon. I try to promote positivity through my stories with themes of love, redemption, forgiveness, hope, self-discovery and kindness. My stories come with help from above. I’m sure of it. It has been a journey in between raindrops and sunny days. I am finding writing fills my soul with joy, wonder and love.

Tuesdays With The Angels-Having A Heart

Have a Heart is an expression that has been used for many years. As the Russian War in Ukraine rages on, I pray without ceasing for the people of Ukraine and for the people who’s outpouring of love from their hearts spreads around the world.

In these times of people sheltering refugees, orphans, donations of military aid, food, helping animals, these are people in the world that inspire me. These are our angels on earth who take their loving hearts and help people they have never met or most likely will  never meet. The bully never wins in the end. So I pray the strength of heart and prayer will blanket the people of Ukraine and their homeland will shine again. All who help others in our world Have A Heart Because Love is Here to Stay.

Tuesdays With The Angels-Forgiveness

Words came to me the other night as I lay awake in the middle of the night. I wasn’t thinking about forgiveness yet the following words came from up above I’m sure: Forgiveness is Holy

I had finished writing my 5th book in my Mystic Bay Series, 20 Moon Road An Angel’s Tale. When these words came to me, I not only knew forgiveness is an on going theme in all my books but I realized something I’d never thought of.  Heaven has sent me every one of the words I write to share with others. These stories of love, redemption, hope, forgiveness and caring for others, bring me me nearer to God and angels. Forgiveness is Holy

Tuesdays With The Angels-Calling All Angels

As I watch most of the world rally behind the Ukrainian people, I know the angels are calling all the world to support this country and its’ men, women and children. We must pray for each and every one of the Ukrainians and for us to rally, to unite as one in as many countries as possible.

Prayer is more powerful than realized by many. Pray for unity, for health and safety of these people and all the people of the world.

When I write my books about angels and the angels that live as humans in the fictitious town of Mystic Bay, I believe it’s true. I think angels do live among us. I know, I met an angel once long ago when my daughter passed away. In my new novel out soon, 20 Moon Road An Angels Tale, the theme captures how one person’s love and knowing angels can change everything.

Helping someone in need helps ourselves become all we can be. In my novels, the bully never wins.

Tuesdays With The Angels-What Do Angels Look Like?

Angels to me, are as different as falling snowflakes. They come in human form and angel form, like we do, in different colors, shapes and sizes. I have never seen an angel with wings, but others I know have seen angels themselves. Some look like humans, others look like angels and some are unseen.

I am as sure as there is a heaven above,  I  met an angel once over 25 years ago. He came in the form of a human, an older gentleman. Months after my daughter Kate, passed away suddenly. My dear friend, Nancy, invited me on a girl’s trip to Houston. The first day of our trip in Houston, we went shopping at an upscale mall, There we met a man in a department store and had just a friendly hello to him at the men’s department,   However, the next day, the man came up to us in a little shop in a town an hour away from Houston that neither of us had ever been to. The tall man came up to us and surprised us by saying “hello girls”. We chatted for a few minutes and he said, we thought jokingly, “See you at the airport.” Nancy and I laughed and turned to look at some gifts. A few moments later, when Nancy and I turned back to him,  the man was gone. Later, we realized he must have been an angel because it seemed an  amazing encounter.  My fear of flying had escalated after my daughter’s passing. As we looked up and down the street that long ago day, the gentleman  was nowhere? We sat down at a little table outside the store and said to each other,”Could the man be an angel sent to comfort me?” My fear of flying has decreased over the years now and I’ve looked  for him at airports but haven’t seen him, yet I know he is there. He never told us his name nor did we tell him ours, but to this day I call him, The Man I Call Angel.

As I’ve written my Mystic Bay Series over the last ten years, my novels center around angels living as humans. I certainly have asked many people if they have seen angels. And to my surprise, so many friends and strangers have had experiences. They are all  first hand from people I call friends or have met at book events. Every encounter is comforting to me  and extraordinary. One encounter is from a friend. Her  husband had passed away. An angel appeared to her and identified himself as her guardian angel. She couldn’t see his face clearly, but his wings were a  beautiful gray blue color, folded long to his sides. She said he spoke comforting words to her as she felt ill that day. She said he stood about 12 feet tall. She has never forgotten how her angel helped her with loving words and presence that day.

Another friend, a person with healing abilities, said he has seen angels that are 30 feet tall and golden. He sees them around many individuals. Another friend tells me her two angels have been at her side since childhood and appear as ordinary young men.

I have written 5 books in the Mystic Bay Series. 20 Moon Road, will be out this summer. What’s remarkable to me is, I keep hearing angel stories from people who have seen them or knew an angel was with them or saved their life. These are truly angel miracle stories, sent to us all from heaven above.

Tuesdays With The Angels-Heaven & Angels

I’m writing about Madam Norma my beloved character in my Mystic Bay Series. My new book 20 Moon Road An Angels Tale will be published sometime soon. I patterned many a character after my dear friends. Madam Norma was inspired by my late friend Norma. For forty years we were friends. She was like a surrogate mother, best friend and confident all in one. I was like a daughter to her she once told me. We shared our lives and she died at ninety three a few years ago. She survived losing her two sons, her dear husband of over sixty years yet she had a joy of living. She would wake up everyday and open her curtains saying, “Good morning world!”

Oh how I miss her so. I’ve recently lost two dear  friends and it’s heart breaking and yet…I remember this. A friend sent me a beautiful card years ago when I had lost my daughter, Kate. On the card three dogs were looking out the window. The card read…

Not Gone, Just Gone On Ahead

A beautiful thought for I believe it’s true. All our loved ones who have gone to heaven will be waiting for us. They would want us to live our lives to the fullest, right now, right this very minute. And so I celebrate life everyday feeling blessed. I believe our loved ones are waiting with the angels.

Tuesdays With The Angels-Inspiring Christmas Stories

I’ve always loved Christmas and the themes of treasured Christmas books that write themselves into the fabric of my heart and on to the pages of my latest novel.

The Night Before Christmas took me from childhood imagining into Mystic Bay Novel Series 4. With visions of Santa and reindeer in my mind, I wrote a story of horses needing rescued before Christmas and love that changes everything.

In A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens, the cruel Scrooge changes when visited by spirits of his past, present and  yet to come, who show him how his miserly ways have caused much suffering.  My books always include a man or woman who has earned the characteristics of a Scrooge. But as all good stories can end, my characters find their way to goodness and love.

Even the Grinch in How The Grinch Stole Christmas by Dr. Seuss can have his heart changed for good. Town of Angels Christmas is my way of honoring my love of Christmas. The themes are filled with hope for a troubled yet beautiful world. Fences built on love can change everything in a beloved
Christmas story. Merry Christmas  Everyone!
