Tuesdays With The Angels-Angel Stories

I meet them, lovely people with stories of angels. I participated in the awesome Payson Book Festival last weekend. I displayed my six books, four in the Mystic Bay Series, my memoir and children’s book.

I love meeting people that pass by my table. I ask each and every one if they have seen an angel and most have had one experience. One woman told me she knows her angel is near but cannot visually see her.  The angel, keeps watch over her and has all her life. Another man, dressed in cowboy hat and shirt, told me he knew there were angels because he was near eighty years old and still alive after a few life threatening experiences. One woman told me an unseen angel pushed her car to safety in a snow storm, the handprints of someone were left on the snowy back of the car.

The more I write angel stories, and ask people about angels, the more I believe. The  novels I write set in the fictional town of Mystic Bay, are prayerfully engraved in my heart. Recounting my teaching career with special needs students in my memoir, Special Needs Children The Angels On My Shoulder, gives readers hopefully an enlightened message. These students showed me their hearts of angels, changing my world to one of purpose and inspiration. And years ago, I met a man months after losing my daughter, Kate. He comforted me with his presence. He seemed like an ordinary human but the second day I saw him, I knew he was a heavenly being miraculously sent to comfort me. He became the inspiration for my Mystic Bay Series where angels live as humans and no one knows the secret.

As I write I find a loving heart can survive loss and inspire others with stories about angels. The angel stories from friends and perfect strangers help me write. These people, some who I may never meet again, are all kind and loving souls willing to share. They are angels on earth to me.

At the end of my latest novella, Town of Angels Christmas, A Tale of Love and Animal Rescue, I’ve put an excerpt of the fifth novel in the Mystic Bay Series I’m presently writing called Twenty Moon Road The Psychic and the Angels. The first chapter is on paper yet the rest of the story swirls in my mind like white clouds flecked with silver linings in the sky. My books bring me peace, bringing readers stories of love, redemption, mystery, forgiveness and hope. The books I write hopefully bring others joy. For as you see below, the letters for joy, are forever spelled in my name.

Tuesdays With The Angels-Town of Angels Christmas A Tale of Love and Animal Rescue published!

Town of Angels Christmas is set in Mystic Bay, where angels live as humans and no one knows the secret. It’s a tale of love and animal rescue.

I dedicated this book to my late daughter, Kate. I wanted to write a story about Christmas in the town I’ve created, Mystic Bay, California. Our family loves Christmas! My grown children and my husband and I donate to children less fortunate at Christmas and throughout the year. In my 4th book in the Mystic Bay Series, I write how  we all need to be the Santa’s of the world for children of every race, religion, color and creed. We also need to care for the well being of animals in this world, domestic and wild. These are my passionate hopes woven throughout my books. Living through unbearable loss taught me something about myself. Giving to others from heart and mind is healing. Every Christmas we adopt kids from Love House Kids Program in Phoenix. These children from group homes and shelters realize someone they may never meet cares about them and their future.

Readers say my books inspire them. They say they want to live in the fictious town I created, Mystic Bay. California. I say anyone can live there. Mystic Bay’s ideals and good works of love can live in all our hearts.  Like Christmas, these ideals  absolutely live in mine.

Tuesday With The Angels Town of Angels Christmas

I’ve always loved Christmas. It has been always an important part of my journey through grief. Love of family here on Earth or in Heaven is forever. And I can still hear my daughter, Kate’s, laughter, the very last  sound I heard of her voice. And so it is an honor to write another book dedicated to her memory. Town of Angels Christmas.

It’s a tale of love and animal rescue, the fourth in the Mystic Series.  For I know what matters most in our gift of life. And the answer is  love. A friends mother long ago wrote me the most beautiful note. She had lost two children. Her note read, “You will always have the precious memories of your daughter. And one day, that glorious day will come when you will be reunited in Heaven. What a glorious day that will be.”

And so as Christmas is less than six months away, I celebrate the love of thoughts of Christmas with family and keeping dear Kate’s memory alive with a new novel, the 4th in my Mystic Bay Series,  Town of Angels Christmas.

Tuesdays With The Angels-Town of Angels Christmas

My 4th in the Mystic Bay Series,

Town of Angels Christmas A Tale of Love & Animal Rescue will be published soon. I have always loved Christmas and rescuing animals has always been my heart’s work. The story includes rescuing horses and as in every novel, keeping the secret safe that angels live as humans there. It’s about love too and threaded in the story some characters have experienced prejudice and abuse. I’ve always believed social problems can be healed. My books, readers say. give them hope and inspiration, Mystic Bay, my fictional town, is a place many readers say they wish was real. Well, we can all put Mystic Bay in our hearts. Kindness as in all my books,  always wins, and the bully changes. It’s possible with a little help from the angels

Tuesdays With The Angels-Town of Angels Christmas

It’s in my wonderful editor’s hands!!  Town of Angels Christmas and hopefully she likes my novella and 4th book and final in the Mystic Bay Series!

Yes, I never thought I’d write 4 books about the ficticious  town of Mystic Bay. Readers say they want to live in the town where townsfolk help each other and angels live as humans  guiding their flock as friends or as angels unseen. I too, don’t want to leave the town behind. It’s become healing to write about this town. This book is special because there are themes of the negativity we find in our world, racism, abuse and bullying. But as always the town of Mystic Bay will come together for when I write, the characters always solve the problems and find  true answers.

The Light of Angels

To me, people are inherently good. It’s just that some lose their way. There is  romance of course in this novella, plenty of animals including the rescue of horses. Many loved  characters return. Of course, there is a wonderful Christmas theme to hopefully brighten every readers day. I will wait and see if readers want  a 5th book! Til then, hopefully, Town of Angels Christmas will be out by Christmas 2021!

Tuesdays With The Angels- 4th Mystic Bay Novel

What is it like to write about a town I’ve grown to love, a town called Mystic Bay created in my mind? This novel or novella, I am thinking will be called Town of Angels ChristmasIt’s themes are many like in my previous books. There are themes of  redemption, love, forgiveness, hope and of course the main theme of angels living among us.

My writing started from childhood but the Mystic Bay stories started twenty-five years ago when I am sure I met an angel He looked like a typical man and his presence two times on two days comforted me after my daughter Kate passed away. I’ve grown to love Mystic Bay, the characters, plus painting a picture of the town for the readers. This book will feature not only themes of the good the town does, adopting, fostering children and animals. It will also, touch racism and cruelty to horses. Why do I write these themes? Because they are as important today as they always have been.My angels I think about don’t appear to me but I am sure somehow they whisper themes, and circumstances to write about. It will be hard to say goodbye to Mystic Bay, the characters, the quaint seaside town, the main character of the last two novels, Angel Ken. Most of all it will be sad to say goodbye to a town where angels live as humans and no one knows the sweetest secret.

Tuesdays With The Angels- Town of Angels Christmas

Coming Soon....Town of Angels Christmas!

Creating Mystic Bay, a town where angels live as humans has been my greatest joy in writing. I’ve always loved Christmas and so I’m in the process of writing the fourth in the Mystic Bay Series. It will be a book filled with all the same endearing characters and feature Angel Ken as the main character. Of course, there will be themes from today. Ken, an African American man I met on a plane a few years ago who worried about racism in America, inspired me to write him  as a main endearing character to love. I wrote him as an angel living a human experience.  Town Of Angels Christmas will feature the people of Mystic Bay showing the world prejudice and cruelty are not tolerated in their town. With love and guidance other characters will be ready for change.

Tuesdays With The Angels- Real Angels

I know three people who are gifted in the healing arts. Each person is different in their approach but they all have prayer at the center of  the healing of their patient.

I myself have experienced healings and thank God for these people who have natural abilities to help the body heal. On my own journey, I try to tell my body to heal whenever a problem arrises. I believe we all have abilities to help our bodies heal. But this self ability also has to do with the mind. Daily, I again and again try to improve my positivity, looking towards heaven in prayer and thanksgiving. Praying for others in my life is healing for me. That’s what life is about to me… Prayers are a form of projecting love toward others. People who have the ability to help heal others with God’s help must be angels on earth.

Nothing is impossible!

Tuesdays With The Angels-Voice of an Angel

Chicken Soup for the Soul kindly mentioned my story, Voice of an Angel in their latest podcast. I was honored to have my story  featured in their recently published book,  Listen to Your Dreams. Dreams are important and the angel voice I heard in the dream  long ago inspired me to  find the joy ahead. Writing is a dream come true for me. To me, following our dreams leads to fulfillment. Whether dreams come true or another answer comes to us from above, just dream then dream again and again.

Tuesdays With The Angels-Real Angels & Christmas

I always loved angels. My first exposure was through Christmas at our house. Even though my parents had troubling issues, our house was filled with lights, a beautiful tree, ornaments and stars that made my heart sing. There was a nativity set and angels on the tree. My faith was always a part of me, a feeling angels were with me. My dad would play Christmas albums all day long and to this day I can sing them word for word. They bring back a sense of peace overriding the tough memories of those years. Yes,  through the happy and hard times of my life I’ve believed angels were near. I’ve never seen  wings, but I know I met an angel once in human form  coming into my world after I lost my daughter. He comforted me then and thinking about him still comforts me years later. My belief in angels is even stronger now. I’ve written five books about angels. My Mystic Bay series tells the story of angels living as humans helping the people in town with encouragement and love.  So many incidents have filled my heart with the knowledge that love and goodness come from heaven. There is no doubt to me angels are always at my side and on my shoulder. They are everywhere. Look for your angels at Christmas and always!
